Terms of Service
Last updated 30 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Doc-OS. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Doc-OS is in beta. Features may change, and we may have short outages while we improve it. Current service health is shown on the status page.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account and your API keys.
- Team owners and admins control who can see the documents shared with their team.
Your content
You own the documents and data you put into Doc-OS. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can run the service for you, including sending them to our AI providers when you use AI features.
AI-generated text can be wrong. Check every document before you send or sign it; Doc-OS does not give legal, financial or tax advice.
Acceptable use
- Don't use Doc-OS for anything unlawful, to send spam, or to mislead people about who a document comes from.
- Only upload or share client information you are allowed to share.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.
Plans and payments
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can change or cancel your plan with Manage billing on the pricing page, or by emailing support@corysentities.com.
- Payments your clients make through a portal go to your connected Stripe account; you are responsible for refunds and for the goods or services you sell.
- Each plan's features and monthly document limits are shown on the pricing page.
Template marketplace and payments
- Sellers are paid through their own connected Stripe account. Doc-OS keeps a platform fee on each marketplace sale: 15%, or Stripe's processing cost (2.9% + 30c) if that is higher. The fee is shown on the Sell page before you list a template.
- Buying a template gives you your own copy to use in your own documents.
- Refunds and disputes follow Stripe's process. If a purchase is refunded, or a dispute is lost, the buyer's copy is removed.
- On a refund or a lost dispute (marketplace sales and client portal payments alike), the platform fee is returned to the seller except Stripe's processing cost, which Stripe does not return and the seller bears.
- Payments collected through client portals are paid to the business's own Stripe account. Doc-OS keeps a platform fee on each one that covers at least Stripe's processing cost (2.9% + 30c), and more if a higher fee is configured.
E-signatures
Doc-OS records who signed, when, from which IP address, and a fingerprint of the signed content. Whether an electronic signature is enough for a particular document depends on your local law.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
The service is provided as it is, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We will update the date at the top when these terms change. Questions: email support@corysentities.com, or use the Feedback button in the app.
